DMCA policy
XoomGames respects the rights of copyright owners and responds to proper notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar notice-and-takedown laws where applicable. This page explains how to send a copyright notice or counter-notice related to content appearing on XoomGames.
This page is for copyright complaints only. Trademark, privacy, safety, developer listing corrections, and general support requests should be sent through the appropriate contact channel when available.
Before sending a notice
Please check whether the content is hosted by XoomGames or embedded from a third-party provider. If the game file is hosted by another platform, that provider may be the party best able to remove or disable the original material. You may still notify us about the XoomGames page, and we will review whether to remove, disable, or modify our listing.
What to include in a DMCA notice
Your notice should include your full legal name or authorized representative name, contact email, physical or business address where required, identification of the copyrighted work, the exact XoomGames URL, a description of the allegedly infringing material, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Your notice should also include a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner. The notice must include an electronic or physical signature.
Counter-notices
If content you submitted or control was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was mistaken or misidentified, you may send a counter-notice. A counter-notice should identify the removed content, include the URL where it appeared, explain why you believe the removal was mistaken, include your contact information, and include the statements required by applicable law.
We may forward counter-notices to the complaining party and may restore content where the law permits, unless the rights holder starts legal action or provides additional information that prevents restoration.
Repeat infringers
We may terminate, restrict, or refuse submissions from users, developers, or partners who repeatedly provide infringing material or false rights information. We may also remove content when it creates a reasonable legal, safety, or platform compliance concern.
Send your request
To help us process your request quickly, use a clear subject line such as “DMCA Notice – XoomGames” and include all required details in the body of the message. Incomplete notices may take longer to review.
